Kay Woodward

Dr. Kay Woodward is a lifelong Spartanburg resident and active community leader.  Dr. Woodward has served Spartanburg in various capacities.   After earning her Bachelor, Master and Doctoral degrees in Psychology from Purdue University, Woodward joined the faculty of Converse College as an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology.  Since 1985, she has served as President of the J.W. Woodward Funeral Home of Spartanburg.

Among her numerous civic and community involvements, Dr. Woodward has served on the Board of Trustees of the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center and is currently a Trustee of Converse College.  She also sits on the Advisory Board for Camden Military Academy and is a member of the Spartanburg Chapter of Links, Inc.
