DEMOGRAPHICS
In Community Indicators VI, you’ll find a page entitled “A Village of 100.” While working with a total population of more than 260,000 Spartanburg County residents, we have transposed the percentages to a “village” with 100 inhabitants to describe our demographics in a more understandable manner. For instance, our village contains 49 males and 51 females. 75 are Caucasian, 21 are African American, 3 are Hispanic and one is Asian.
