Made up of community leaders representing the diversity of Spartanburg County, the Board of Trustees consists of seven members with staggered terms. Each year, one member's term is completed and a successor is chosen. Along with its primary duty of ensuring that the mission of the Foundation is carried out, the Board oversees the financial security and performance of funds, the value of which is preserved to generate resources in perpetuity. The Board also provides oversight, transparency, and performance evaluation of grants made in the community.
